As far back as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a hairstylist. This career has been very rewarding for me. Styling and cutting hair gives me an outlet for my creativity - it is almost therapeutic. I focus on creating hairstyles that enhance my client’s natural beauty while matching their lifestyle. The best part of the job is getting to know my clients and sharing with them through life events - both good and tough times! It is an honor and privilege to service our clients! My specialties include precision hair cutting, natural hair coloring, and texturizing services. I also have experience working with hair replacement solutions for women who struggle with balding.

I have been a makeup artist, stylist and esthetician collective for 17 years. I love when the customer trusts my instincts and lets me create a custom look for them. I specialize in color, cutting, keratin treatments, special occasions hair and makeup, and skincare coaching. My clients over the years have become more like family to me and I cherish our friendships. I’m always working on my skills with new education and always excited to take new clients.

Talia Santangelo
Hey! My name is Talia Santangelo, I was introduced to cosmetology and nail technology school in high school. I fell in love with the industry immediately. I loved every minute of it and I knew I was in the right spot. Becoming a stylist was my passion and I knew it would be my lifelong career. Keeping up on new trends and top education is how I give back to my clientele. I pride myself on the ability to deliver the best services and salon experiences for my clients. I have expanded my education in multiple "blonding & balayage classes", various classes for coloring and cutting natural curly hair, and I am certified in BELLAMI hair extensions! My main goal with my clients is to listen to their needs and wants with their hair and give my best knowledge and advice to taking their hair to that next level. Hello, I have been serving clients in the Downers Grove area for 27 years as a licensed cosmetologist. I have an intense passion for hairstyling - to take part in someone’s transformation makes my heart sing! I was honored to be featured in Allure magazine in 2011. The article, by Kathleen Rooney, was called “Head Games” and it described the special bond of trust that is created between a stylist and her clients. It confirmed what I already knew - that I belong in this career!

Lisa Leonardo
Hi, my name is Lisa Leonardo. I’ve had the pleasure of being a colorist and stylist for almost 35 years. I knew this was what I was going to do back in third grade, when asked about what I wanted to be. So I followed that dream and I have had a fantastic career.
I am a certified colorist and have had extensive training in both curly and thinning hair. I also have certificates in Keratin Complex and Keratherapy smoothing systems. My biggest joy so far has been teaching classes for the American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better program.
I look forward to many more years in this exciting field.
